Today's microbio prac test.. sigh.. so tough! Firstly, it says the origin of the bacteria is from this vege that has not been washed. So, after umpteen checkings, i suppose that have to be G+ bacteria, S.Aureus/Clostridium/Listeria, since they are all found in either contaminated veges/soil/salads. So there i went, to do Gram stain, to the microscope, then ARGH, cannot see anything, scrol scrol, stare, scrol sidewards, upwards, downwards.. damn.. then finally. RED. RED OMG! RED! or purple. (not sure) argh.. hw can it be G negative! argh. then i looked at the options, Ecoli, Salmonella or Campylobacter.. *grr* panic panic, how can that be? so i went to do antoher gram staining, and RED AGAIN! damn and its bacilli. ok, so definitely either of the 3 above. tried to find the right media.. but.. im still not sure, cant belive its negative, so i went to lala to ask for help *whisper whisper* hehe then argh, decided to put all possible plates for G+ and G- altogether. grr.. *so scared* went up to Sue to check, and she says, just have to do 16-streak on N.A plate, thats it. THATS IT?????
OMG. im so worried... duno if its right or not.. will Sue find that I'm not putting effort cos i put all the possible media down so she cant be bothered to help me? but afterwards i noticed some students discovered wrong G type, and she told them to go back and redo it again
so i suppose mine should be right, at least, my G negative bacilli. ^^ *phew*
well after that i realized, Robbin and Gina got the same situation as me, i suppose we are doing on da same bacteria, he's is potato salad and gina's salad. so yeah. VEGES. aniway, we'll see. i think it should be either EColi or Salmonella. WE'll see next week's culture then.. hehe.. hopefully im gonna hit that correct!
WEll this week has been prac week i suppose. Yesterday had BIochem Prac test, and it was pretty easy, except for the wrong pipetting i used. gee hee luckily its only practise test. i have to do well for next week man.. or else Vita will just kill me, yes, literally kill me, because she gave me a high mark, and she told Leon. damn. so much pressure for me, cos she specifically says: "I EXPECT u to do well for the practical exam. Dont let me down." ARGHHH... erm.. but i was really happy actually. hehe.. been so happy that i forgot to write my blog yesterday. And got scolded from DAh dah because he realized, i'll only write the bad stuff on my blog but not the good ones. Hey, isn't that good in a way? Because when u are pissed, this is a good way to vent ur anger and sooth urself somehow. hehe.. but its also true that i have to post some happy moments too, for momento and reflections.
So here i go: erm.. today lala told me really inspiring words, which i believe has hit me straight in my stupid brain, that i should not be too fiddle minded. I have my own decision, in everything i do. Right now, I will start to stop being worried about this and that and just pray, for the best. ^thanks lala^ u've been really nice.. really..
There's also another thing, i feel really happy because Dah says he feels really happy to hear my happy voice over the phone today, and that brightens his gloomy day! ^^ well.. i was shopping! how can i not sound happy! hehehe.. Went to Sass & Bide, it was sooo full with people and Jeans, few dresses and tops though. *disappointed* Bought a pair of jeans, size 26! i can actually fit. hehe.. *but it was still tight though* but i bought it anyway because its only $80, from its original $200+? but well.. like lala said, its not that cheaP also, bceause she got GASP for $80 too.. oh well.. i bought it arleady, and forget it, i'll just be happy and contented, that way it makes my day right. Hrm.. wnated to get the dress too. but there wasnt many left to choose. should have gone tom instead.. but *shrugs* tts okay. haha.. Buying this jeans will inspire me to go on diet anyway heuheuhuuhee.
erm.. then what else? owh.. been trying to contact people in sg about any food industries they know of, or rather, any friends working in placements in any food companies. i Desperately need to get one. No more time to waste! Just applied for Myojo and Gardenia. Hopefully i get some replies.. sobs.. if i dont do this, i have to do research for 2nd sem! n i dont want to. haeh.. oh well.. *pray for me* ^0^
